Getting started

My Lines turns your script into a scene partner: the other characters speak, you rehearse your lines against them, and the app tracks what you actually know. Your first rehearsal is about five minutes away:

  1. Create a scene.From the library, add a scene and give it a name (the play and scene number works well — you'll link it to shows later).
  2. Import your script. Open the scene and bring the text in — paste it, upload a Final Draft, Fountain, PDF or Word file or a photo, or read it aloud with Record All. Which import path fits →
  3. Give the other characters a voice. Generate an AI voice per character, or invite a real scene partner to record theirs by email. Voices guide →
  4. Rehearse. Hit Rehearse and start with With Gaps on Full Text: the scene plays, pauses where your line goes, then plays your line back so you can check yourself. Modes & difficulty →

From there, climb the difficulty ladder (First Letter, then Audio Only), watch your score grow, and when a real performance is coming, set up a show so the app can tell you what to practice first.
