Collaborate on a scene

Instead of AI voices, real people can record the other characters — and rehearse the scene with you. Collaboration is per-scene and per-character: you decide exactly who records what.

Inviting a scene partner

Open the scene and find the collaboration panel in the scene editor.
Enter their email and pick which character(s) they should record. Each character can only be assigned to one collaborator.
They receive an email with a secure link (valid for 7 days — send a fresh invite if it lapses). Opening it and signing in with Google connects them to your scene.

What a collaborator can and can't do

They see the full scene with their assigned lines highlighted, and can record audio only for their assigned characters — the app enforces this, not etiquette.
Their recordings appear in your scene immediately, attributed to them, and play in your rehearsals like any other line audio.
They can also practice the shared scene themselves — with their own memorization progress and score, separate from yours — and even add it to their own shows to track readiness for their performances.
They can't edit your script, invite others, delete the scene, or see your other scenes.

Ending a collaboration

You revoke: from the collaboration panel — their access ends immediately.
They leave: collaborators can remove themselves anytime.
Either way, recordings they already made stay with the scene— like a letter that's been sent. If they later delete their account, their recordings remain but are no longer linked to their identity.
